Author in Residence: Cynthia McDonald

Cynthia McDonald is known for her versatility as a writer and has published both fiction and nonfiction works. Her works touch on themes such as living with stage II brain cancer and American history, as well as fantasy for adults and young adults. Cynthia has published both books and short stories.

In addition to being our author in residence, Cynthia has published four books and three short stories, with three more short stories debuting soon. “Vengeance” will appear in Bonemilk’s anthology SuicidAliens; “The High Wire” will be published by Yuzupress; and “In the Dark Places” will appear in Hellbound Books’ upcoming anthology Toilet Flush 3.

Cynthia was also a guest on the podcast The Writers Triangle, discussing diversity and inclusivity in publishing. You can find the video here.

Cynthia is the author of 3 nonfiction books: American Dream; American Dream Part 2; Life Is A Terminal Illness; and the young adult fiction book Drōmfrangil.
