Brannon was raised in Northern New Jersey and relocated to the Washington, DC area where he still lives. He is married with children now in college. After a career in the technology field, Brannon is a writer since the Spring of 2023. His work has been published in many literary journals including Isele Magazine, and The George Washington University Press. His literary fiction short story, Symbiosis, will be published in Secant Publishing’s anthology titled Best Stories on the Human Impact of Climate Change. and that story is being considered for the Secant Publishing Prize.
He is also seeking a publisher for both his historical thriller, The Emigrant, a historical thriller about an IRA volunteer haunted by a violent past and an unrealized musical dream reborn as a star soon after arriving in the US, and his upmarket crime fiction work, Throughline, a novel about a dysfunctional family of outlaws and the effects of trauma across generations.
